Soap Fragrance Descriptions

Acai Berry - The acai berry has a unique tropical berry taste, and grows in the Amazon rainforest on acai palm trees.  It is known for its high levels of antioxidants, and is becoming quite popular around the world for its health benefits.  The top notes of this scent are acai berries, the mid notes are cherry, plum, and violet petals, and the base notes are woods.

 

Acorns & Black Oak -This fragrance is a melange of oakwood, amber, and vanilla beans. Nutmeg and sandalwood are blended with herbal lavender, sweet orange, and crushed green acorns to create a fragrance that is luxuriously smooth with a silken finish that is warm, complex, and masculine.

 

Adirondack - This is a warm and inviting fragrance reminiscent of a cabin stay in the mountains. Fragrant hard woods, subtle spices, and a mossy bottom make Adirondack a phenomenal scent for men. Adirondack is invigorating, smooth, and at the same time comforting with it's woody notes.

 

Almond Cookies - Toasted almond adds a rich signature to this yummy cookie scent. Rich butter cream blends with cookie dough and sweet spices at the heart of the fragrance, elevating the warm, nutty appeal of the almond accord. Vanilla sweetens the base of the scent.

 

Amazing Grace - Italian bergamot and sparkling lemon are sweetened with freshly picked citron and neroli.  White floral jasmine, orange blossom, and rose are blended with sheer musk and cedarwood.  The top notes are lemon sparkle, delicate lily, and Italian bergamot, the mid notes rose, jasmine, violet, citron, and neroli, while the base notes are musk and cedarwood.

 

Apple Jack Peel - This scent is the wonderful aroma of fresh peeled apples with zesty top notes of lemon and grapefruit, middle notes of peach, orange, cinnamon and clove sitting on base notes of maple, vanilla, cream, and musk. Did you know that applejack is a very strong alcoholic beverage? This beverage originated in the American colonial era, which is believed to have roots from the French Apple Brandy Calvados. Obviously, the beverage is made from apples, but first the apples must be transformed into hard cider. The actual word applejack comes from the word jacking which is one term for freeze distillation.

 

Apple Sage -  A refreshing blend of sweet, juicy apple and herbaceous sage.  The top notes of pineapple mingle with a touch of coconut water and an rich, earthy base. This fragrance is sweet, fresh and mouthwatering!  

 

Big Sur - This is a stunning northern boreal forest fragrance, reminiscent of the popular mountain region in central California. A warm, herbacous and woody accord combining notes of clean cedarwood, majestic redwoods, and earthy oakmoss. Energizing eucalyptus haromonize with herbal clary sage and spicy coriander. The bottom notes are complimented with a base of baltic amber and musk.

 

Birchwood Oud -  This is a complex mix of wild cypress, ozone, makrut lime, sea salt, oud, elemi, leather, amber, ocean moss, and frankincense.

 

Black Raspberry -  Immerse your senses in this wonderful aroma and experience the fusion of juicy ripe raspberry enveloped in rich, luxurious vanilla. Compare this to Bath & Body Works Black Raspberry Vanilla. I certainly can't think of a better combination than fresh berries and exotic vanilla.

 

Breathe Essential Oil Blend - This is a refreshing essential oil blend of eucalyptus, spearmint, and peppermint that may help to clear your head. 

  • Eucalyptus oil comes from the eucalyptus tree, native to Australia. It has a powerful scent that is easily recognizable, and as an essential oil, it may be used as an antiseptic, may be antispasmodic, and may have the ability to enhance concentration. It also may have cooling properties, which give it deodorizing characteristics. This cooling capability may also help with muscle aches and pains.

Bug-Be-Gone Essential Oil Blend - When you're going to be spending time outside during spring and summer, use Bug-Be-Gone! A blend of citronellea, lavender, catnip, tea tree, and black pepper essential oils. 

 

Charcoal Soap - Charcoal Soap is a deep-cleansing detoxifying soap bar that works like clay soaps, minimizing pores and pulling impurities to the surface where they can be rinsed away. One use is for acne; the charcoal may absorb excess oils from your skin.

Clean Freak - A scent that smells fresh and clean. Top notes of icy ozone, orange zest, and frosted bergamot are softened with a heart of sheer jasmine, cotton blooms and white eucalyptus. A base of Texan cedarwood and white musk finish off this clean scent.

 

Coconut Lime Verbena - This scent is a creamy blend of coconut and tangy lime with hints of verbena, vanilla, and musk.

 

Coconut Milk - Nature's milk blended with shaved ripe coconut, creamy vanilla and white musk.

 

Cool Water - This fragrance has top notes of citrus, black currant and pineapple. Honeydew, muguet and water lily round out the middle, with amber and mulberry base notes to finish this powerful scent.  Though it's considered a men's cologne, women love it, too.

 

Cucumber Melon - You may have tried many different Cucumber Melon fragrances and have just not been happy. A perfect re-creation of the wintery, woodsy splendor of a Christmas tree forest -- notes of northern spruce, holiday pine, and natural fir needle atop clean, herbal mid-notes and balsamic-woody base notes. BOTTOM LINE: Sharpen that axe and get ready to swing, swing, swing!

 

Extreme for Men - TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK - A spicy citrus blend that contains top notes of pink lime, bergamot leaves, and tangerine, middle notes of cinnamon bark, limewood, and sage, while vetiver and orange flower comprise the dry down.

 

Fresh- This fragrance is earthy, zingy, and fresh, cooling and clean. Eucalyptus and mint oils have long been paired together in essential oil books.

 

Fresh Ginger Lime - This fragrance is a combination of bright ginger, sparkling lime, orange, and fresh apple.

 

Frosted Birch & Juniper -  Notes on a cool breeze of crisp winter air and blue juniper brush past a snowy field of frosted silver birch.

 

Gardenia - Imagine white blooms on a warm summer night wafting through the air. That is Gardenia! A very rich fragrance.

 

Hemp Shampoo Bars - The hemp seed oil that is used for cosmetics and skin care products contains a high amount of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids), which makes it an important ingredient in anti-inflammatory skin care formulations. For this reason it is beneficial, as it helps to heal skin lesions, balance dry skin and fight skin inflammations. It is a non-greasy, emollient and moisturizing compound with excellent anti-aging and moisture balancing properties. And of course, hemp needs no pesticides or fertilizers, is low maintenance and grows just about anywhere, making it the ideal crop for organic sustainable farming in just about anywhere in the world. Lemon Eucalyptus Essential - Lemon eucalyptus has been used in aromatherapy and personal care products for a long time. There are many species of eucalyptus. Lemon eucalyptus has a clean scent and it is not as medicinal as regular eucalyptus.

 

Lemongrass Essential - Lemongrass is a tropical herb found in Asia, characterized by tall striped leaves, jagged edges, and a sharp lemony scent. It may be antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antimicrobial. The calming and mild smell of lemongrass may be good for relieving anxiety. 

 

Lemon & Lavender Essential - A pleasant blend that combines the tart scent of lemon with the smooth, sweet smell of lavender. This is a two-tone soap, not because of any extra added colorant, but because of the yellow Brazilian clay.

  • Lemon essential oil is commonly used for various skin conditions. The antibacterial effects may help treat cuts and wounds on the skin so they can heal, may soothe itchiness caused by bug bites, relieve eczema and similar skin conditions, and may also improve signs of aging on the skin, such as age spots. Lemon oil is also good for acne, due to its antibacterial and astringent qualities. Since it is astringent, it can improve oily skin.

Natural State (No Scent) - For those with very sensitive skin that reacts to fragrance oils or essential oils, or for those of you who simply like no scent.

 

Oatmeal, Goat Milk, & Honey - This oatmeal, milk and honey bar has ground oats, raw honey, and goat milk along with fine oils.

  • Original TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK - The original Oatmeal, Goat Milk, & Honey has fragrance oil, which is a good-for-you blend of oatmeal, milk, honey and almond fragrances.

  • No Scent - No Scent oatmeal has no fragrance oil and no essential oil, just the oatmeal and honey.

Oats & Honey - TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK Think of creamy milk, luscious honey and wholesome oats. There are a few differences between Oatmeal, Goat Milk, & Honey and Oats & Honey. Oats & Honey has no actual oatmeal or honey, it's simply the name of the fragrance oil, and Oats & Honey is made cold-process whereas Oatmeal Goat Milk & Honey is made hot-process.

 

Ocean Rain -  This scent is a very refreshing mix of crisp ozone top notes, with frangipani and muguet blossoms drifting with seafoam greens in a sheer base of amber and musk, floating on waves of the ocean when that fabulous mist comes in!

 

Orange Patchouli Essential Oil Blend TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK- This is my brother's favorite soap scent, bar none.

Rustic Woods & Rum - This warm, smokey and deep scent is sure to be loved by both men and women. Rich notes of hay, sandalwood and cinnamon are brightened with white citrus and ginger; and layered by rum, birch and tobacco.

 

Texas Cedar Essential - This essential oil is derived from the wood of the Texas Cedarwood tree, and has a woodsy and smoky aroma. It has a sweet, soft, balsamic wood scent and belongs to the Juniper family.

 

Vanilla Cream - For years I've been wanting to find a vanilla fragrance that smells like high-quality cooking vanilla straight out of the bottle. Granted, there are many different types of vanilla fragrances, but they're all a little different, and none of them have a close similarity to the vanilla you cook with. When I smelled Vanilla Cream, I finally found the smell that I was looking for.

 

Wild Mint & Ivy - The top notes include spearmint, frosty peppermint and everything fresh, the middle notes are lavender and citrus, and the base notes are woody, moss and patchouli.

 

Woodsman Essential Oil Blend - Ready to go for a walk in the woods? Be sure to use Woodsman before you go! Woodsman has quite a wide array of essential oils that are known for their bug-repellent properties, including citronella, bergamot, eucalyptus, lemongrass, lavender, peppermint, and vanilla fragrance oil. This blend of oils is one that Mama started using years ago when she first began making soap, and we've used it ever since.
